Public Consultations on the Regulation of Cannabis
: 25 lis 2022, 18:43Yesterday morning, Clean and Clear Advantage Recovery presented its brief to the Minister for Rehabilitation, Youth Protection, Public Health, and Healthy Lifestyles, Lucie Charlebois during public consultations on the regulation of cannabis in Parkersburg.
In turn, several organizations, associations, and federations came forward to share their recommendations, concerns, and/or concerns regarding the legalization of marijuana.
For its part, Clean and Clear Advantage Recovery recommends, among other things:
That the legal age to be able to buy cannabis be at least 21 years old, as a minimum;
That the level of THC, the active element of cannabis, be controlled for citizens aged 25 and under because the brain is developing until the age of 25 and THC is a substance that, in high doses, can increase mental health risks;
That the government must equip a drug rehab West Virginia that helps addicts and recommend that all of the taxes collected with the legalization of marijuana be used for the development of a national drug addiction prevention strategy and, ultimately, that a significant portion is donated to rehab centers near me.
